Taran and d’Arnot set off, and walked for a month(they took arms and food supplies left by the french cruiser crew), got to a french mission, got clothes and continued, tarzan told the Lt. about his childhood with the apes, and that he got the chest from the pirates, and buried it, while the Lt. told him about civilization…. when D’Arnot heard about Kala, he told Tarzan that he had human parents, and tarzan told him “read everething except for this book” and showed the Lt. the small book that was in French writing, and d’Arnot read it aloud, he figured out after he saw the last entry(right before the apes came and killed Lord Greystoke) and the small fingertips made from the ink by a baby, that tarzan might be the baby, but needed to confirm it…. after another month, they reached a river outpost, tarzan became a sensation, once taken care of a crazy native, and another going to the jungle with just a knife, and bringing back a lion carcass……….. than they rented a boat, and went to where the chest was, tarzan got it and took it to the outpost, than finally D’Arnot found there was a french steamer, and both took the trip to Paris, and this is basically where we are right now

Tarzan: You better notice. You have been trained to be an observant individual.
