I spent my Christmas vacations with my grandparents until I hit my teens, never noticed that Grandma turned the Grandfather clock forward an hour and we’d watch the ball drop in NY on TV. She’d declare the new year and tuck me in, had no understanding of time differences as a kid. Great memory this comic reminded me of!
