Knowing HP’s usual take on things, I surprised he is promoting this view.

Lowe’s are cowards, knuckling under to the threats from one single bigot. If we let them off the hook, we’re going to find that NOTHING will be allowed on TV except evangelist preachers. And OWS is not a racist organization, and do not try to influence a free press through blackmail, so the comparison is stupid.

Do you have evidence that the OWS movement is anti-semitic? I know a few of the occupiers here in Toronto, and oddly enough they’re Jewish. I haven’t noticed any anti-semitic slogans, but perhaps there are some. Do you know of any?

Payne is a jerk. It’s still a free country and Lowe’s can sponsor or not sponsor any program they want.

I recall the days when it was the Liberal “thing” to boycott businesses (or threaten to boycott) to get what the Minority Libs wanted….if a company that depends on sales to the general public offends many potential customers by sponsoring or promoting a “cause”, a boycott-induced change to please the majority is sensible.-I don’t want any TV program, fiction or “reality”, to promote the deceptions Muslims use to cover up the truth about their intolerance from day one of Islam, and the continued “culture” of abuse of women and girls and 7th century sharia laws…that they work to impose wherever any Muslims live.-but of course, I am one of the “right wing nuts”……I believe in Bible, Constitutional “democracy” and human rights, and God-given Life and Liberty…

@1opinion…..yes. Because “green mail” is now an American “way of life”……look at the gains made by demands on businesses by advocates for “normalizing” sodomy, which is a distinct SIN in the Moral Teaching of the Bible…..both the business of Media and AD sponsors. Even TV writers push it into formerly decent TV series…..poisoning the entertainment media. I quit watching a sci fi series because of IMO a ruined character.
