Spike Smith in a purple suit, BROWN tie and black shirt … wow … now I get it … the person who does the color at GoComics is color blind. That certainly explains a lot. -Joe’s pencils and Shelley’s inks look good though.

Father and son “don’t talk much” That is the world’s problem. Not too many folks talk enough to kids today even to tell them right from wrong. Not only the USA but also the world at large is reaping what we sewed. Take a look around us; we’re in a mess.

Hmmm, I wonder if this photo will lead to trouble or actually end up helping Spike Jr’s situation.

i think the whole deal of spike’s awful colored clothing is that he is a somewhat flmboyant person and his choice fo clothing reflects that. heck, look at the pic of spike jr when he first appeared here.. someone commented he looked like a loaf of wonder bread, lol. “like father like son” i guess

Hey Honey Moon’s a little girl, so why the lip stick coloring.? Somebody needs to talk to the colorist.At least the one at the-Star left them flat/blank.

GoComics color sucks. We all pretty much agree on that. Many of us, myself included, would like to see the daily strips presented in B&W. That occasionally happens in my daily e-mail strip delivery, or when GoComics seems to make a mistake. Looks like the site’s color is here to stay, so I guess we best get used to it. Could GoComics present us a b&w and/or color option? Seems unlikely. Can we get back to discussing the world of Dick Tracy? Also seems unlikely.Thanks Tarry, Jim, Mike, and other insiders for your insights.And thanks, 3D, for the link. My eyes still hurt.

Honeymoon is irresistible, and Spike, in his appropriately flashy and zany suit, will try to get her the autograph from his son. But there will be big trouble at Cueball’s (or as a result of Cueball’s actions, even if set elsewhere). The set-up is so tantalizing….

Can I just say one more time how completely THRILLED I am that this continuity is going to last until JULY??!? This is such great news. Thank you again revitalizers of this once moribund strip. And finally…a continuity to really get wrapped up in! HURRAY!!!

Mattie, why did you lay into BB? You’ve found three people inflamatory in three days. Quite frankly, a lot of posters here came just to see your predictable rant. It was the most entertaining thing around. And, as educated and knowledgeable as a person self-proclaims, I’ve never been impressed by people who tooted their own horns.
