Let’s ignore the fact that the Euro was always unworkable; that nobody with any sense keeps money in Euros – or US Dollars; that the repackaging of sub-prime mortgages by the strangely named Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae poisoned the system; that too many ordinary people spent too much on credit or that unregulated greed might have something to with it.
Whether other newspapers practiced ‘phone-hacking doesn’t justify the shameful acts of the Murdoch press. That Richard Nixon lied to congress didn’t justify Bush-Cheney’s lying.P.S.: Read that New York Times article you cited in the last forum. It states that a full recount of Florida in 2000 showed that Al Gore won the state.Now, please move on. History has spoken. We were stuck with a terrible, corrupt, illegitimate president for eight years. You supported him and the man who tried to continue his poor work, and you cannot admit your poorjudgment, but you can, at least, be humble and keep quiet until you can say anything of substance.
