For many years we bought a live balled tree and planted it in the yard. They are HEAVY, though, to bring up stairs. I miss the aroma, plus I would always give it a big hug (white pine.) I’m looking at 2 artificial trees in the living room now (sniff) but my husband did a really good job of decorating.

And wash your hands after handling Christmas lights. They’re full of lead.

Why would anyone ever buy a fake Christmas tree, unless of course, you do have allergies. Part of Christmas is that real tree.
