Back in our 30s, the BF and I used to have a good weekend bike ride and I’d pack a lunch when weather was nice enough. One of the best was fresh apples filled with crab salad; I’m not sure what else we had. Outdoor food can be great with good weather and company. After that tent pole painting last weekend we had ordinary hot dogs topped with yellow mustard and chips which I loved even though I like healthy natural food at home. Tomorrow we will have chilli as one of the pot luck dishes at an outdoor archery event. I’m taking butterscotch that I made Friday and oatmeal cookies with whole wheat flour and cranberries that I baked today.
