I’ve never read this comic before. Who are these two little girls, and what relation are they to J. Barnard Pillsbury?

@DAVID42: Welcome to Barney & Clyde, David. The girl on the right is Pillsbury’s daughter and her friend is a schoolmate (not as rich as Pillsbury’s family is).

There are other characters: The trophy wife’s analyst; Pillsbury father in assisted living and Clyde’s also-homeless sidekick

@MHIC DHU GHAILL: The Uyghurs are an ethnic group in Xinjiang Province, China who are Moslem and speak a Turkic language and use the phonetic Arabic alphabet to write in their language rather than Chinese pictographs. In 1948 they numbered 98% of the population of Xinjiang but because of Han (majority Chinese ethnic group) migration, are now less than half the population. Like your ancestral Celtic language, the Uyghur language is also suppre4ssed. I’m not Uyghur, but I love their music and because I know Turkish, I can speak a little of their language.
