Okay, this one is just weird. Is right-wing radio saying the Obama is calling anyone soft and lazy? Because he hasn’t been. He has rightly been blaming the do-nothing congress and the fact that middle-class Americans can’t afford to buy things. It’s Cain who says that if you don’t have a job it’s because you’re lazy. Does this cartoon make sense to anyone?

Just saw Perry’s “out of context” ad, another misrepresentation , otherwise known as Republican strategy, or blatant lies. The golf bag is Boehner’s btw. Keystone is raising flag with the TEA PARTY folks, especially in TEXAS as they’re seeking eminent domain to seize private property for corporate use, which isn’t uncommon at all under “conservative” strategies over the past 25 years. LIke most “rightoonists” Bok needs to wake up and smell the slurry (oil that is, Texas “lumpy” tea!)

^Yes, saw the whole statement, not part thereof, and he’s right,. “Business” in this country HAS grown lazy as they’ve let things slide for a couple decades, sitting on the profit margins they’ve been granted by Republican (mostly) largess, and yes, become “lazy”.

Sorry zit, the 111th was the previous one. We are in the do nothing 112th. You know, the congress who created the debt deal that cost us our AAA rating? The congress who will only pass laws regarding abortion and our motto? The congress who won’t pass a real jobs plan, but will whine constently because the senate won’t pass their tax cuts for the rich, and regulation cuts (not jobs plans BTW.) Any of this ringing a bell?

Obozo’s jobs plan was rejected in the Senate, remember? By members of his own party because it was so awful. And if Obozo has such an amazingly effective jobs plan, why didn’t he pass it in 2009 when his party had huge majorities in both houses of Congress?Answer: he doesn’t have a real jobs plan, He only has his own myopic far-left idealogy.

Somehow when all the Republicans vote against a good thing, and are joined by two Democrats, it’s the Democrats fault that it failed. Hmm. Can’t take responsibility for your own failures, can you.

I get it! Since I don’t watch Fox news, I got the whole quote, where Obama clearly did NOT say that Americans are lazy. He said that the American government has been lazy. I guess the cartoon makes sense if you’re in the conservative bubble.

Really? What was I wrong about? The plan was killed by republicans more concerned with power then putting people to work. (They stated that fact themselves) Even IF the 2 democrats sided with the others, there would STILL not be enough votes. And repblicans don’t have a jobs plan. Its the same reganomics BS that they’ve been pushing for decades. Cut Taxes, Cut Regulation. No jobs created, TRY AGAIN.

Demand for goods and services is what creates jobs. It really hasn’t much to do with taxes….. However, the free market can’t fix crumbling infrastructure…..only government can do that….and you can only get money from people who have it. Only the rich have any money…….so…take your medicine….Obviously Obama is the only adult in the room. Only someone warped by conservative talk would consider him liberal…………….

Bruce, talking to an associate yesterday who’s trying to start up a new business, and they want to MANUFACTURE the product in OREGON, providing AMERICAN jobs. It’s a creative product and idea, but they’re stalled, as they found it IMPOSSIBLE to find anyone in the U.S. to supply the components they need for the final product. These components are only produced overseas (mostly China) today, and getting financing for a PRODUCT to be produced in America is almost impossible from AMERICAN banks!!!!!!

“Lazy” isn’t applicable to many folks, but it sure applies to business, and yes, government when it comes to confidence, and imagination on how to improve THIS COUNTRY!
