This is the first time that gocomics has let me on simce my last post. We are still living in a construction zone. The contractor miscounted the numbe of bullnose pieces that he needed for our stairs. The extra piece was supposed to arrive by UPS yesterday so we cut our Thanksgiving weekend short and he was going to come in to finish today. The piece did not arrive and hopefully will arrive on Monday. We have a hallway that is half finished and furniture and dust everywhere. This was supposed to take three days. We began last Friday. Does this all sound familiar to you folks? I asked LilG how long that it took to build the house. She said 6 months. That was the amount of time it took us to remodel our bathroom. LOL

85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky with 12 % humidity!!!

Back outside with me to enjoy this excellent day some more!

63 here and I ain’t complaining. Spent part of it outdoors, then came in to see my favorite trilogy just starting on Encore. Can’t believe it has been 10 years since “Lord of the Rings” came out. Seems like it was yesterday. We had such fun watching those movies, discussion later about the movie over dinner. And agonizing and excited to wait a year to see the next one! Good times! I so love those films! Saw them a couple of years ago again, but each time, it seems new, you pick up so many things you missed before. What a BRILLIANT piece of work by both J.R.R. Tolkien and by Peter Jackson in the film version.

9 degrees here, but I’m indoors, so who cares? I have a roast chicken (my first ever cooking it myself) and rice waiting for me to enjoy.

I’ll come back later.

Dry I liked the Lord of the Rings too, but only saw the first one. I read the books though.

It has gone up to 13 degrees (68 degrees F). Too bad it is after nine p.m. I don’t feel like going out now!

GoComics is really slow today.

The chicken was delicious. I had a good meal and now I’m relaxing with the comics.

As long as we aren’t warped, that’s okay cleo!
