Yet another liberal myth. The earth is not even close to overpopulated. There are approximately 740 acres for every man woman and child on the planet….
Considering for most countries in the world, 20% of their land being arable is a HIGH figure, it IS about feeding seven billion, let alone a projected NINE billion! Then there’s that silly “water issue” with potential loss of that resource, as we poison what we’ve got with fertilizers, oil spills, and fracking for gas.
Sorry, but genetics won’t permit the population to decrease in an organized manner, like the Chinese are trying to do. It promotes the concentration of genetic mutations in the remaining population. Which leaves us with war and famine.
