Looks like my daughter the “Chef” after she’s made something yummy. Only problem is she forgets that at home she doesn’t have her people to clean up after her.Why it takes so many pots and pans and bowls to make a dinner for five I’ll never know.

@Plods – I’m not married to your daughter, but I can certainly identify with your dismay. My lovely spouse believes dinner is not done until she has filled the kitchen sink with the last of the pots, pans, dishes, bowls and mixing spoons. I am of course, the dishwasher and cleaner upper after.

If somebody else wants to handle the cooking, I’m happy to do the clean-up afterwards. Provided you STAY THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY. After all, I left you alone while you were MAKING everything, right?

When I cook I try to clean as I go, and find ways to use less dishes, and try not to leave “hammer and chisel” to clean up cookware.

This is the first time I’ve see Janis in a skirt.

Men can cook really well. The only problem is they tend to use every pot, pan, and dish in the kitchen and never wash the dishes or clean up the spilled remains.

Her: “I can make this better, but it would make a huge mess in the kitchen. I’ll leave well enough alone.”

Him: “I can make this better, even though it’ll make a huge mess in the kitchen. NO GUTS, NO GLORY!!!”
