Susan…. in my (and Julie’s) neck of the woods… the A.C.T. is a commonly used assessment used when applying to start college. The S.A.T. is used more universally across the U.S. In colleges across the Midwest, most schools accept either the S.A.T. or the A.C.T. And, some tend to get MOSTLY students who have taken the A.C.T.
I had heard the joke before, just slightly different, it went:What did Michigan Football players get on their A.C.T. papers?Drool, mostly!Course I am in Columbus the heart of the OSU Buckeyes, who are presently trying to keep a low profile in lieu of the latest happenings. lolHave a good week everybody!
I also did not see lamp movement or couch sinking, but the joke was not new and I’m still wondering what happened to the hearts on Verl’s shirt. These people will continue to be what we can all be glad we are NOT.
