The American definition of “cartoon” is certainly lamer than how others define cartoon, a preliminary presentation prior to the final execution of a piece of art. That said, i like animated cartoons and will defend our rights to get the lamest we can.

Calvin & Hobbes, Peanuts and Cathy have all been put out to pasture. Fox Trot only runs on Sunday. So …. any of my Math and Logic students could tell you that of all comic strip artists who are not dead, retired, or semi-retired, you are really No. 36!
