lureman, Al Davis was a Mastermind of taking supposedly washed up players and turning them into stars again for example Jim Plunkett, Ted Hendricks, Lyle Alzado and too many more to name. RIP Al

Lureman … one of Al Davis’s specialties was taking a chance on guys that other teams might not. Raiders’ kicker today is that kind of guy … and is still one of NFL’s best.

Of course he also drafted Jamarcus Russell, Marques Tuiososopo, Todd Marinovich…
