    But the simple fact remains, NEITHER party is the same as 40 years ago, may those changes be “good” or “bad”, folks should realize those changes.

    The elephant is too well dressed to be the slack-jawed simpleton. He’s more likely to be the heartless corporate bastard sending all our jobs to China.Stereotypes aside, the hardliners (and spineless) of both sides need to go. It’s time for the moderates and the pragmatists to take charge. It is possible to have a fiscally and socially responsible social safety net, but not with the absolutist hardliners and corporate interests mucking about.
