Teacher: Okay, guys and gal! I really like what you did with your daily diary comics! Now let's bump it up a notch! I want you to do some real life reportage! You need to go out in the real world, observe something closely, and do a great comic about it! And make this a personal statement! Keep it honest, authentic and grounded in the gritty reality of a modern eight-year-old's life! Andre: So we have to go outside to do this? Petey: My sister's room is gritty as a coal mine. Can I do my report thing there?

Mr. Other Spinnerack seems to be imposing his own ideas about what comics “should” be on the kids, instead of helping them pursue their OWN directions. Loris looks like she might be suffering from Cute Big-Eyed Robot Vampire withdrawal.
