I had no idea that tennis had such a rocky start. (whoosh!)

In fact, it was tennis equipment manufacturers who invented string, in order to increase their net profits.

Their devious plan made everyone suddenly “need” the new gear — what a racket!

Yeah Bailey and Ladyfinger — I was going to say what it takes to play tennis, but I won’t cos I already had a pretty innocuous comment deleted yesterday…. :(

No. It was just more of a skill game back then.

One thing I find strange about this website is that stuff.

That last line is directed at a lot of people, not just No. 6.

I just don’t get why people here squabble.
