We have so few kids in our neighborhood we give toys instead of dealing with leftover candy. I think two years ago we finally opened the second bag of two we bought maybe 20 y.a. A couple fond memories are of a boy who took a parachuting skeleton, so his brother decided that was what he wanted, too. Another boy commented, “These aren’t candy – these are prizes!” “So take a prize, Phillip,” said his mother.

Don’t buy it too soon. Then you have to hide it from yourself so you won’t eat it.
