Could we really have expected anything else from an established member of the Money And Perpetual War Party? Vote third party. VOTE GREEN!

Hardly fair to say he ‘started’ a war in Somalia. More like jumping back into a war that’s been going on for the last 20 years.

What kind of idiot is Ted Rall? How does he figure Obama started any of those wars? The people living in the countries started the wars. Nonsense like this is why I haven’t trusted reporters or political cartoonist since the Nam days.

While I question the topic by which Rall is arguing about “wars started” by Obama, the essence of his “1 out of 2 ain’t bad” punchline is entirely correct. B.O. has embraced all of the worst aspects of Dubya’s administration, and in some respects have doubled-down on them. “Change” never happened, but his mindless minions are still sold on him because he speaks reasonably well when he has a teleprompter in front of him.

Obama didn´t start a war in Lybia. There is a difference between starting a war and support for a side – where one means you want to spend loads and the other means you can limit to the minimum since its their own case if they want to win or not (so should have prepared more).

Libya “rebellion”, just backing NATO as requested, as in the treaties we’ve signed, but really, none of our business, but they DO have oil, which is why Republicans insisted he “do something” until the minute he did, exactly what he said he’d do. As to Somali pirates taken out- three cheers, but hey, it WAS Obama, so don’t get carried away. BinLaden? What after more than a decade someone finally used the intelligence available to nail him, but let’s not give any credit.

war sucks, so let’s just send in the folks who insist on supporting it, or spending outrageously on “tools” for it! Hey, we’re killing 43+ people per day here at home with homicides, let’s not say we’re of a “violent nature”, or that it reflects in our “foreign policy”.

At least the Libyans, the Yemens, and the Somalis don’t hate us for our freedom.

It seems to me, as with everything that goes on politically anymore, that perception trumps reality. Obama is MUCH worse than Bush in every respect, and yet you’d vote for him over “the alternative?” You have NO idea who that “alternative” is, and yet you’ve already concluded that your vote is going for one of the worst (if not THE worst) presidents who has ever held the office? THAT, my friend, is being a “mindless minion.”

Ted Rall observed in an earlier strip that belonging to a political party is like rooting for a sports team — often it’s how you were raised. I am a Democrat. Sure, Obama is basically a conservative warmonger, but he’s my conservative warmonger.
