There’s another reason for using the term “Officer Jackson”. You can never be sure when someone will come along and read today’s strip who has never (gasp!) seen it before. So you must constantly drop hints & reminders to help that person orient themself, as well as to arouse their curiosity and encourage them to come back again next day.Right?
