Just remember that we are living better for less because of these imported goods.

You betcha! Ross Perot warned us during the 1992 Prez campaign that “that giant sucking sound you hear will be American jobs leaving the country”.

NAFTA was supposed to cause all of our jobs to move to Mexico. That never really happened. What DID happen is the WTO and the Bush era tax incentives for companies to move over seas. We started really seeing the movement of manufacturing to China. The democrats had to give up repealing it when they had the chance because they were collectively to weak willed to pass their plans against Republican opposition. There’s more than plenty of blame to spread around, but no enough resolve to reverse it.

Inflated sense of self-worth, worthless. The average HS grad is worth about minimum wage, or less. College can add value, if you apply yourself. But then, if you apply yourself you can add value with no school. Value for value is the root of capitalism. When you pay less or charge more, the profit is counterfeit, & bubblicious.
