This misses the mark. The problem wasn’t Delta, but the US Government and the contract it negotiated with the airline to move the soldiers around. I do agree that Delta mostly sucks donkey dingo but let’s be hating on people and institutions for stuff they actually did rather than just making stuff up. See recent coverage for examples of JMSU.

IMO—-falsehood #1 we are “not allowed” to see returning casualties from the Mideast——I have seen news shots of airports/planes/caskets, I think!falsehood #2 “USA is killing civilians” (NOT the primary target)—-the sneaky enemy deliberately hides in civilian areas.falsehood #3 “for oil”…..Q= where is this oil we are spilling blood to get?????? where are the leftwing news items documenting US stealing Mideast’s oil and where is it? wouldn’t stolen oil lower the prices of oil and gasoline?
The airlines have backed down from charging returning troops for extra baggage. They went over there to stop the kind of people who hijack airplanes & should fly free, first class. Let the airlines take it as a tax credit. There’s no Afghani oil & Saddam was paying the families of suicide bombers & needed gone.

He also started sending all National Guard units because, well, “you gotta go with the Army you got”— store clerks and pizza delivery guys— without body armor or supplies, or enough men to actually control a country you invade- but then what does Shinseki know compared to an Air Force noncombatant, a draft dodger with five deferments, and a guy who quit the National Guard six months early, before completing the job he signed up for, got trained for, and couldn’t do, kinda like a governor we can think of.
