WESTEX, as in “a catfight.” Tasteless, but not racist. Comparing an African-American to a monkey revives racist comparisons of the past – as when some idiots claimed that Africans were “less evolved” than Europeans.

Don’t get your hopes up. Palin is another Trump. She’s in it for the publicity as a means to make more money. Bachmann has actual political ambitions, though polls suggest she wouldn’t carry her own state.
