So what happened to the color? Does the move to gocomics mean just B&W from now on or just during the transition? Was comics.com coloring them or Michael?

Some other strips have had the problem. I think the colour needs time to develop. Maybe if we look at these strips in a few days time they may start to get colour. Something like a Polaroid print.

You really do need color to do beet jokes. And, just for the record, beets are nasty. My family has pickled the dang things for generations. My uncle claims it was solely for the purpose of being able to pass them around asking if anyone actually wanted one.

That said, my brother actually likes them and my grandmother still pickles them.

I like pickled beets just fine. Harvard beets, not so much, and just plain beets I have learned to avoid. I know which salad bars have which, too.

I’d be happy just to get the comics. They have not successfully made the transition in my case — yesterday I got Frazz, today I got Frazz and Arlo & Janis — still 5 more to go for “success.”
