Bush and other Republicans believe that what takes place elsewhere can have unforeseen consequences. (Man 1: Suddenly the sanctity of our marriage seems diminished.) (Woman: Damn gay marriages!) This "butterfly effect" goes further than previously thought. (Voice 1: I'm going to try that low-carb diet) (Voice 2: Suddenly the sanctity of our menu seems diminished.) As it turns out, people's beliefs are so dependent on others that original thought cannot exist. (Man: Suddenly the sanctity of my gay marriage seems diminished.) (Man 2: Yo, Bob- your straight ex-wife just got remarried!) This phenomenon, if managed well, could improve our lives.
