Wally: Andy? What are you doing? Andy: I think it's time for me to go home, Uncle Wally. Wally: But...you weren't happy at home. That's why you live HERE. Andy: I'm sure it will be better now. Wally: Well...if you're sure. Andy: I'm 15! Why wouldn't I be sure?!

but that’s really thoughtful of him…

True, but like so many kids, he thinks, he is part of the solution if he’s part of the problem!
Kids, life is FULL of “set-backs”. DON’T run away from them! Stand and help find ways to overcome them. (You’ll be a better, stronger person for it, AND you’ll help your loved ones out along the way!)

Awww, that’s sweet. But, Andy - you are home.

It would have been better for Wally and Joan to have maybe told Andy the situation–and asked him to maybe contribute (through working) to meeting needs for awhile–which also had potential for building stronger bonds!

Maybe it would be hard for him to find a job, even a paper route. What a sad situation that he thinks he must move so he’s not a burden on them. I hope they can work out some other solution.

Melany and Burgundy2 thanks for the help yesterday.
i bearly know this kid, but it makes me sad, dont let him leave. take him and sit him down tell him what the problem is and that he is not it. show him the love he wants and needs. show him that you can make it, and tell him he dosent have to leave, you dont want him to leave, and would miss him like crazy if he left. tell him that if he wants to help he could get a job and not leave. poor kid so much on his plate.

This isn’t over yet! The truth will come out, Wally is too savvy not to understand that Andy found out the partial truth.

Poor Andy! I hope they will clear this out soon. Even if Andy couldn’t get a paid job, he still may help a lot if he helps with the kids and the housework.
