The “line” is here at home, not Mexico or Afghanistan. The problem is the top dealers, not users. It is time to start at the top, and work our way down, not the other way around, which we’ve been doing for decades. Of course a lot of folks with incomes warranting those top echelon tax breaks, and with political connections (all sides), would be doing the perp walk with Madoff.
And BUSH BUSH BUSH, who decided he didn’t need to obey Congress with his record-breaking number of signing statements, who wiretapped Americans illegally, who said twice that he thought a dictatorship was a good idea, if he was the dictator – Jeez, I might agree with you more often, ANandy, if you were even a smidge more even-handed!
Oh, yes, and who also was a drug-user, and basically said “that was then and this is now.” Obama was honest about it - Bush wouldn’t even admit it openly.
And to clarify for the great Innaney – Clinton and Obama showed no signs of having their recreational drug use causing them problems. The difference between addiction/abuse and use is generally defined in terms of the effect on your ability to function.

Of course you glossed over the drunken frat boy, dry drunk former coke-head that was W.
The drug issue is far more complex than killing some bad guys and building ANOTHER prison.

“Willy” didn’t inhale pot, remember? It was Dubya who snorted coke in college.

Woops, didn’t mean to be redundant. lalas’ and motive’s posts weren’t there when I replied to ANandy.
