Wow. I know this is what some people think but….just wow. Then there are always some young girls who plan to have a baby and become a reality show star (16 and pregnant?). sigh
It is sad that people these days just don’t want to TRY anymore. I feel old saying that when I’m barely 30, but I don’t know if it’s the instant gratification of YouTube, video games that give instant/fast rewards (easy tasks to “level up”), or what, but more and more, people just don’t want to try, they want everything handed to them.As a side note, I actually knew someone that was very self-centered and I told her that she wasn’t the center of the world… to that, she looked at me weird and said “Yes I am”. Wowwww…
It’s cheaters like that that make millions of the legitimately disabled look bad. Too bad for your friend. She will find out that raising a child is a lot of workShe will find also, that stretching the small amount she will have for all the requirements and needs of the baby and herself will take work too. Paper work and red tape and riding a bus to a food bank with a baby is not a walk in the park. THe people who try to get disability for practically nothing will find out that they are Not as lenient as 30 years ago.People can still fake things but it may bite them in the butt. It should also bite them in the conscience.
I just got approved for disability after 15 years of falling and being discriminated against at work. The pay is just enough for rent, utilities and food. Nothing extra and I won’t get much back pay because a lawyer found he could make more money by cutting my throat. If I had my druthers, I’d be working. Claire’s father needs to be less lax.
