Hey, Fairportfan2! I’m in Atlanta metro also. My kids sure would love for it to snow since we only get it once a year, and meager at that. Me, I would be fine with a twice a year snow because it’s fun sometimes.

This sounds like a group of my friends and me last night. Someone mentioned snow and the rest of us said shhhhh, don’t mention that as though it would stop the snow from coming. One of them said, “They’re calling for snow tomorrow” and I said let them call for it somewhere else! LOL

I would be very happy to never have any snow this year. The kids wouldn’t be happy, but so what? They don’t have to drive in it.

When we lived in Wyoming, I rode my bike to work almost every day. Now, well, the Red Necks are more hazardous than the snow ever was……

Fairportfan and lightenup: you can have our snow any time you want it!

Of course, if it got cold enough down there to snow, it would be worse than ever up here in Canada.

The problem isn’t the snow, it’s how long it stays with you.

Snow is forecast for South Louisiana late Friday night. Unless you stay up to watch, it’ll probably be gone by the time you wake up.

It was nice & warm last week (60’s & 70’s). This week - the highs are barely above freezing! Haven’t seen any snow, but burrr!! Especially yesterday when the winds were strong enough to make the house rock back & forth. (Thank goodness I installed hurricane straps when we were building it!)

It was warm here too last week, but we had a lot of rain. Now it’s cold (in the 20’s, and last night in the teens) but dry.
