I have a friend who has often made me some bread from her bread machine and she never adds salt. I just accept the bread and sprinkle a bit of salt on it before eating it. No biggie.
Eight to twelve loaves every week for years. Yes you forget the salt once in a while. Make bread pudding, crumbs, salt the bread, never throw good food out.
Ash - you are right. I make bread all the time, but have never forgotten to add the salt. With all these comments, I will make a point of continuing to add salt. LOL
heh, both Swedish and North-Italian bread is normally saltless. Can’t stand the stuff. The Italians have oil and salt to dip the bread in, usually, but the Swedes just basically dislike salt bread.
Wow, howtheduck, what incredible sarcasm. I’m amazed you even read the comics with such a condescending attitude… or do you just hang out waiting to put people down with your “wit”?
