Susie Rasmussen says: I am sooo sick of the NRA and their knee jerk reactions to gun control. For God’s sake, give it a rest people!!!

The JPFO also has a knee jerk (gut wrench) reaction to gun control.

Obviously you don’t give a twit about the constitution. I demand you take the name “Liberty” out of you strip title. There will be no liberty for anyone without a strong constitution.

What could be more specific than “a well-regulated militia”? Oops, the Supreme Court cut that part out with their last ruling on gun rights, didn’t they?

Doctortoon Said: Where I get a little nervous is people who feel they need to own assault weapons. I’ve actually heard people say they need them to protect themselves from the government. Scary.

If you had lived in Europe during Hitler’s time I think you would feel differently, without weapons and the resistance movement, the Nazis would have had a free reign.

My family has always had long guns and a few handguns, I remember them from very young ages. We also had our toy guns and bleeep well knew that toy guns didn’t blow things apart. When I was 5 and my sister was 4 our grandfather caught us loading the 16 gauge, we were going to go outside and target practice. Our nefarious plan was spoiled because we had found the old, swole-up, rock-salt shells and tried to jam them into the breech. My point is, at that tender age we knew these were implements of distruction, and you did not point real guns at other people. There was a pine tree outside that was begging for a buising, though……

I forbid and will not allow any weapons in my home! PERIOD! This strip is full of nonsense and outrageously silly to post on Sunday newspaper/online today.

Ordinary Table Knives, Paring Knives, Steak Knives, Chef’s Knives, Knitting Needles, Pointy Sissors, Sharpened Pencils, Screwdrivers, Hammers- Balpeen, Claw, and Sledge, Shovels, Hoes (Lena wields a mean one), the list of implements that can be used as weapons is a long one.

When we sued to have a constitution, I loved it. Little things like Freedom Of Religion. All the gay marriage bans repelased that one.

They did. For way too long.

I know there are many weapons out there that can kill, I was only speaking of guns. I was ranting and not being really specific. Assault guns have no place in the home. I agree with doctortoon, no one needs them outside of the military. I can’t see our military tarketing towns and cities in the U.S. Call me an optimist!
