The Industry abuses them.They are Surrounded by people who make No Secret of the fact that only the Skinniest, most Anorexic, Starved models are going to be hired..It’s the people who do the Hiring who control what is “Acceptable” on the runway..I’m pretty sure most of them are just enjoying a sadistic lifestyle, watching a parade of young women ruining their health..
I heard one fashion designer say long time ago that the reason they chose models who are so gaunt and bony is because they represent the drawing on the page in three dimensions.
