Global warming, by any name, was and remains a fraud. It’s what Lefties like my frenemy Night-Gaunt above (Hi there, Nighty!) have resorted to as an excuse for increased government control of the world’s economy. It isn’t the skeptics who have politicized science; the Warmist started it. Failed politician Al Gore? The United Nations? Oh, come on!
My old university in Norwich, England, was right in the middle of the global warming controversy when its Climate Research Department (a world-leader, apparently) was caught out in falsifying evidence… what really irks is that this is said to have cost UEA nearly a milion pounds so far in covering up, denying and damage limitation.
And as a graduate, they still send me begging letters asking if I can share some of my good fortune in life with the university by giving it money…. yes, if the CRU hadn’t pissed it up the wall for you then you might not need so much cash!
Norwich, btw, is at sea level and in a part of Britain that would be ground zero for inundation from risen sea levels, one of the scientific proofs of global warming. So its university doesn’t need a CRU so much as a general issue of wellie boots and lifejackets to prove its happening – so much cheaper! So I cn’t help but think that the absolute proof of global wrming might be the Climate Research Unit upping sticks and moving to the Univeristy of The Central Cairngorms, or something… and i bet UEA alumni would still be asked to contribute to relocation costs…
