Since we have extreme weather somewhere on earth all the time . . We really are just coming out of a small ice age. They used to wait at the Mississippi River, in the winter, for it to freeze. Then the covered wagons would cross on their way West.
Correction, we should be in the middle of a substantial ice age. :) All the global warming is preventing it, according to most weather scientists I’ve read.
GMA did stories on special areas of interest that viewers wanted to see. Ice bergs one of them and how global warming is affecting ice.
The dead sea is also drying up.
