As I said repeatedly throughout the 2008 campaign, Obama was a community organizer in my home city of Chicago. He learned his life lessons there. This ACORN expose is what ACORN and Chicago community organizers always did. Why the surprise? You were alerted in advance.

freitas, what you propose here is a one-party system, mass censure and under most civilized societies.

    Investigate ACORN.

You know what’s funny for me?

They try their hardest to find wrongdoing in ACORN (which you can find in any organization or corporation) and say that it’s fault of the top…but when it comes to Abu Ghraib, it’s just some wrongdoers….

I’m sure Acorn is not the only PAC with corruption. That does not justify corruption, but it is funny hearing all the Republicans pontificate. By the way, it takes Two, overt acts to convict anyone of treason. Being a member of a political party some people do not like, is not a treasonable offense.

FWIW, my opinion is that any organization that takes taxpayer funds must meet high standards. I will be disappointed if only the wrong-doing employees are fired. The manager of each ACORN office involved in the wrongdoing should be fired. It’s a manager’s responsibility to ensure standards are met.

When low-ranking employees are fired, and not those in charge of those employees, the message becomes “don’t get caught” instead of “don’t do wrong.”

And I believe that applies across the board, including the fiasco of Abu Gharib.

It wasn’t the Dems that stole an election. Where were all the protestors when Rove’s guys were purging the voter roles?

bgarner, yep another action bordering on criminal that got a big pass from almost everyone including the media. I’m referring to the actions by Bush’s brother Jeb that knocked off 20,000 Dem voters because they had a similar name to an ex-felon. Jebbie boy rescinded his gubernatorial executive order day after his brother was inaugurated.

And by the way, if some of those voters used a provisional ballot, those were NEVER resolved, nor counted.
