I feel sorry for anyone who has to talk to Ruthie. It’s a good thing she’s a comic strip character - I’d hate to think of her growing up and having some poor schmuck marry her.
Come on guys, Ruthie is a little cutie. She’s just using the typically logic of young children. She would outgrow it if the cartoonist ever allowed her to get older. :) Denise the Menace would be annoying in real life too, but he’s fun to read about.
