So we spent of most the rainy Saturday playing the “Family Feud” video game. Other times watching NCAA Football. Good thing Tink’s outfit also doubles as a pom-pom uniform. She misses being a squad member. Ugh.

I’ve sold two bracelets, so I’m making more of those, as well as snowflake earrings. Kitchen cleanup is still progressing, on track to be done this evening.

Ah well, on to pay what bills I can.

Something didn’t agree with me and I had to make a dash of extended length to the facility. I’m better now, but still, H had hoped to get a chit-chat going. Best laid plans.

Stormy’s ok, fleas are abating…still here in oneseys and twoseys and the latest batch of babies just hatched in my room (sprayed to kill them). Hopefully they’ll be gone soon.

I’m doing ok…now. Unless I have to dash again. I am now working in Imports, but will be in the Export phone que from 12-1 and 4-5 every day. Should work out ok. Downside is the week of 8-4:30pm is ending for our group. Sigh….it was nice while it lasted…..

Gonna try to pay bills again. Hey…mebbe that’s why I got sick!!!

Terry - The van did the weird electrical thing again today. Our whole family was in there, with my husband sitting behind the driver (our oldest son). Of course, I don’t think he figures it needs to be fixed unless it isn’t driveable. I have the worse time getting him to fix things on vehicles that are annoying, but don’t prevent it from being driven. I can’t rag on him too hard right now though, he’s been working 12-14 hours a day for the last few weeks, and it will probably last until around the end of October. Unfortunately, he’s straight salary, so no OT pay, either. But at least he has a job, and that is saying something in the current economy.

Terry I KNOW! TT, MM, AND MM ;-P, :-P, :-P, BUT LIKE I SAID, been a Packer fan since I was 5, but I’m a bigger BRETT fan at the moment, and the moment before that, and the year before that, and . . .You get the picture, my friend!!!

I sure hope that Viking/Packer game is on here on the East Coast, but how could it not be? Talk about a controversial game!

Doc–That’s the same thing I was thinking about RRAmom’s filter.

Doc - I don’t think it is the ads, because the filter can block just an ad, without blocking a whole page. When it has blocked my gocomics home page (which is really the pits when that happens!) I have the feeling it has to do with the tags listed, since that page lists the tags for every comic (I think so anyway, you might know for sure).

RRAmom—I’m a fanatic when little things are wrong with my vehicles but there are times when I will let it go if I’ve worked a lot(don’t forget I work on cars for a living every day) and it doesn’t affect the driving of the vehicle!! LOL

Dry–I am only a Brett Favre fan. When he was on the Packers, I wanted him to do well, just not against the Bears. When he was on the Jets, I wanted ……………well, you get the picture. I want him to do well, just not against the BEARS!! LOL

Terry - The problem is that he hates to drive the van, so if it doesn’t bother him, it doesn’t get fixed. Only got him to fix the driver’s window on our VW (wouldn’t stay up) because he hated the duct tape we (my son & I) used in our attempt to keep it up. I agreed to remove all the goo left by the tape, if he fixed it, so he did. But I’m guessing that if he didn’t drive that car once in a while, he wouldn’t have bothered.

Doc - I’m using Firefox, and it is blocking the pop ups. I’m with you on the football. I got a good laugh in Sunday School this morning when a gal mentioned the “Dallas Giants” game. I told her I hadn’t ever heard of that team, and what sport was that? Of course, after she said “Dallas Cowboys vs. the New York Giants”, that sounded a little more familar.

im back in from my ride and i feel a little better. my bike is riding diffrent… i dont have to pettle as much as before so i do more laps with out noticing. wonder whats up with that. .. oh i was not riding for 2 hours maybe an hour or so spent the last hour with my friend and the kids. i needed that. it would be a plesure to be able to fill in for her while she is gone and help with the kids.

Next. I won’t comment on most of the catch up that i’ve done, but, Shika asked when i was going to NY. I am going to leave on the 26th and be home again on the 30th. naturally, since i’m going down (in part) to visit him, my nephew will be at a friend’s wedding in Maine from Thursday until late Sunday night. still, we’ll find time for a visit, i’m sure.

Dry the checking out the campus is a given. apparently Cascadilla Gorge is closed between Linn and College - something about rock walls collapsing or being in desparate need of repair. but there will be other falls to see. Taughannock Falls State Park is on my list, and i’ve all ready looked at a couple fo pix from the web link you provided. i’ll be sure to let the Tribe know, and will post pictures if i ever figure out time and how to do so.

for those keeping track, my current avatar is from my vacation last fall. it is a hoodoo located outside of Drumheller, Alberta. The whole town is built inside of a canyon with hoodoos (a type of rock formation) all over. many fossils were found in the area,and the Royal Tyrrell Museum is located there (with an extensive collection).
