I must disagree with Mr. Moore. Some of the classic strips have been observations on life. As one example I cite Milt Gross’s Count Screwloose, in which the Count would often escape the asylum merely to observe the insanity outside. It was a wonderful but under-appreciated strip, as this of Mr. Kovaleski. My only regret is that it was not appreciated sufficiently to be continued. Thank you John for putting out the book.
