    the back story on the stick runs along the line of Poncho needed to be rescued from a stream, they used plankie for the rescue everyone cheered allowing plankie to drift down stream. The stick was then used to get plankie out of the water and the stick then drifted down stream, lost forever to Vic (or something like that).

    Sally: It look like plankie ok Mama, is Mr. Plankie OK? Momma: Yes baby, Mr. Plankie he shore is fine now! Sally: Is Poncho gonna keep his Plankie now Momma, is he? Momma: Yes my lil’ angel he gonna keep him nice an’ safe for sure. Sally: Oh Mamma ahm so happy, ahm gonna sleep good, real good tonight. Mamma: Sweet dreams babygirl, hope you gets to see Mr. Plankie when you dreamin’ too.
