I knew it! That eff’ing Xolotl!

Makes sense.

I just learned how to pronounce Xolotl from Tecpaocelotl Castillo, a YouTuber who said he has posted the correct pronunciation because he was so annoyed by Ted-ed person who continually pronounced it so badly.

Anyway, here’s my attempt to spell his pronunciation of Xolotl phonetically: shuhl-LAWT. The first syllable’s vowel sound is halfway between “oh” and “uh”, and that vowel sound blends right into the “L” that begins the final syllable, which pretty closely rhymes with “ought” while sort of leaning toward “oh”. The final “L” is silent. I hope. . . . I was clear. LOL

It all makes sense. Gods like to mess with mortals and cause trouble for fun.

Nothing is really random. We think things are random, because we don’t have the big picture. I remember a program that was developed, for the military, that was suppose to create random number and was asked to be part of a team to test it out. We found that it didn’t produce random numbers and after the one million, five hundred forty-two thousand, nine hundred twenty-eighth time, that it began again with first number. What a waste of time that was.

Test of faith = proof the theory is wrong

Why go to Xolotl when Coyote (Huēhuehcoyōtl ) is right there? The god who laughs and is laughed at. He may help us, he may mess with us; it all depends on whim.

Good to know we have someone to blame.

Xolotl is just a head?

Well, at least he was cool enough to get salamanders named after him.

Things happen. Whether they are good or bad generally depends on your point of view. Things do not happen at convenient times, nor convenient ways. Existence is not a convenience store. Roll with it.
