I know it’s annoying when a dog doesn’t come when called, but really! Mr. Is way out of line. You don’t yell at your dog and crush his/her feelings. That is wrong, wrong, wrong. I’m so sorry, Fred. Yes, you should come when called, but Dear is wrong to yell at you like that.

With those sad looking eyes you don’t stand a chance.

Well, they were nicer to Fred briefly. Eventually they’ll stay that way. Soon, I hope.

Yup. Trailing and flush dogs will tend to be stubborn…you can’t be a good hunting dog if you give up the scent easily.

I would never speak to my Lizzie like that! He’s just taking his worldly frustrations out on Fred!
