The right wing christian political extremists in the USA are pushing for a self fulfilling bible prophecy in Israel, all while pushing for a neo-soviet takeover of eastern Europe. Wrong on so many fronts and basically un-American at its core
Isn`t it strange how R`s tacitly support Jewish conspiracy theories while overtly pledging full-throated support for Israel? Meanwhile doing everything they can to assure Putin`s success in destroying a free and democratic Ukraine.
The US, not Joe Biden, has a security agreement with Israel. Has Israel violated it? I believe so. We don’t have a formal agreement with Ukraine because it is no in NATO, yet. Putin is waiting on Trump for help. Everyone feel better?
To be fair, Israel is a lot smaller, has a higher population density, and a much higher GDP than Ukraine. It is much easier for them to afford an air defense system like this.
Ukraine has a lot of catching up to do, not having been involved in ongoing combat. It is unclear whether covering the country in an Israel-style air defense system is the best use of their (including foreign allies) money.
For example, Ukraine aims to reclaim territory in a war. While Israel aims to defend itself, and stop a terrorist movement.
That said, I do appreciate the juxtaposition in the comic.
How ironic that the Republican Party, once so fervently anti-communist, is now so cozy (for many of its most idiotic members) with Russia and dictatorships. The cancer of Trumpism runs rampant.

I’ve often wondered about the desire for Biblical End Times that many Christians possess. But then I often find their image of God very disturbing.

It was American policy and talk that caused the war in Ukraine, now they like out to hang and dry just like other countries American got involved in

I’d much rather my support, and tax dollars, go to Ukraine. Israel has shown it can take care of itself in a limited conflict.
