“… The five states with the fastest inflation:

    Florida. 12-month inflation: 3.9% …

    Tennessee. 12-month inflation: 3.8% …

    Virginia. 12-month inflation: 3.8% …

    Alabama. 12-month inflation: 3.6% …

    Pennsylvania. 12-month inflation: 1.8% …

The country’s 3.2% annual inflation rate – based on the Labor Department’s consumer price index – masks notable differences among the states since pandemic-related product and labor shortages sparked a run-up in consumer prices starting in 2021. On Wednesday, Labor is expected to report that yearly inflation jumped to 3.4%, though that’s still down from a 40-year high of 9.1% in June 2022.

Florida is saddled with the nation’s highest inflation at about 4% while Pennsylvania has the lowest at about 1.8%, according to an analysis of index data by Moody’s Analytics that’s based on a three-month moving average. Although BLS doesn’t conduct surveys on state inflation numbers, it does publish metro area and regional data that Moody’s used to roughly estimate the state figures.

What places have the lowest inflation?

For eight northeastern states, yearly price gains are already below 2.5% and for about a quarter of the U.S., they’re under 2.7%, according to Moody’s analysis.

“A big part of the country already has worked its way back to (prices) people would be very comfortable with,” says Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody’s Analytics. …" — USA Today

Denial isn’t going to work folks. If you buy your own groceries, drive your own car, or eat out, you know exactly the inflation issue. Inflation may be coming down, for now, but the accumulated increase in prices since he walked in the White House doors is shocking and is sitting on Biden’s shoulders.

Maybe in Congress hadn’t given all those tax cuts to corporations and the top 1% that ended up dumping cash into the economy, we wouldn’t have the inflation we have now. The GOP owns the cause of this problem. At least monetary policy under the Biden administration has brought it back down to a responsible level.

Oddly, not only is inflation low relative to the past few years, the Fed announced today that they see it falling to 2% despite recent bumps. This reality is what makes the “Fake News” rhetoric so necessary to the conservatives.

Yes, inflation is slowing, though at 3.5 instead of the projected 3.4. As we saw after Republican Administrations in the 1960s and 1980s, their recessions bring inflation that never goes back, and is only brought under control by the Democrats.

I’m sure Al hopes the effect of a rise in inflation will be the total demise of Biden. But, inflation was already a problem and Joe was rising in the polls, as I knew he would when he started campaigning. And, Biden is just getting started campaigning so the inflation effects will not be as da-ning as Al, et al, would like to believe.

As inflation continues to mostly remain just above the 2% Fed target (there are reasons why a lower rate of inflation is undesirable, backed by a plethora of historical evidence, which are readily available to anyone with a device capable of internet connectivity, or with access to a library), with occasional lessening but no significant rise for over the past year, the 6%+ reduction in the rate since its Covid high is ample testimony to the Biden administration’s extremely successful inflation amelioration policy.

The percentage of Americans who continue to remain duped about the inflation issue has been dropping (too slowly, to be sure) for months. But unless there is a significant and long-lasting spike between now and Election Day this year, chances are that inflation is going to drop far down on the list of voters concerns by then, and that the percentage who still regard inflation as a Biden failure instead of a Biden success is going to reduce significantly.

Once again: MAGAts have NO concept of market concentration. They do not believe it exists and even if it does, it has NO effect on inflation. They believe inflation is caused solely by “Biden’s policies”, which they cannot identify.

It is just one more “issue” for MAGAts to weaponize and LIE about.

You’ll notice that MAGAts like Goodwyn no longer mention The Economy as an issue. They can no longer weaponize and LIE about The Economy, so it disappeared from the entire right wing media structure.

I’m morbidly curious to see if the do-nothing MAGA-run Congress will vote to fund the rebuilding of the Baltimore bridge, which has an impact on the nation’s supply-chain and coruscating effect on the economy. My guess is they’ll do whatever it takes to harm the economy and, of course, blame “Biden” for it.

When President Trump left office the inflation rate was at a healthy 1.4%. When Biden took office the inflation rate steadily increased until it peaked last June at over 9%. Currently it’s at 3.48%. Problem is that prices across all boards skyrocketed and although the rate dropped we have not seen a corresponding decrease in prices because there is no confidence in the Biden Administration and they are actually taking actions to make matters worse. The only way this will turn around is to Re-elect President Trump and vote Republican at all levels.

Inflation has created severe financial pressures for most U.S. households, which are forced to pay more for everyday necessities like food and rent. The burden is disproportionately borne by low-income Americans, whose already-stretched paychecks are heavily impacted by price fluctuations.

The typical U.S. household needed to pay $227 more a month in March to purchase the same goods and services it did one year ago because of still-high inflation, according to calculations from Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi shared with FOX Business.

Americans are paying on average $784 more each month compared with the same time two years ago and $1,069 more compared with three years ago, before the inflation crisis began.

The analysis suggests that while inflation has fallen from the highs of mid-2022, many families have yet to see material relief.

Propaganda! The USA has substantially less inflation than most other Countries despite TFG’s disastrous results combating Covid. If you elect Mango Mussolini and he emulates autocrats like Erdogan in Turkey with 67% inflation, that will mean no more elections because even MAGAT’s will realize they were conned.
