“ANOTHER comic strip”? This is a comic strip?!

Keep yapping…it’s be a snowy day in July before you see a full supper dish. Do you not remember who feeds you?

Vegas weather is skitzo..yesterday it was 72, today 48 and we had snow pellets.

Maybe you should get your own comic strip instead, Chesney. And Jack could join you. You could call it “Two Rude Cats” or “Loading Dock Cats”.

Admit it, Buster, you would miss Annie if she left you and not just because she feeds you and cares for you. Because you love her.

From yesterday’s comments about my new TV…miztrniceguy asked, “Are you using YouTube TV or just what comes on Roku?”

I’m watching my broadcast channels and what comes on Roku. I won’t be looking at anything that I would have to pay for. Not even with a free trial.

I found a few channels that look really good. Someone yesterday mentioned the Little House on the Prairie channel. I added that channel to my “favorites” just a little while ago, as well as the “joy of Painting” channel, the “Best of Carol Burnett” channel, a game show channel that shows old game shows like To Tell The Truth (the old black and white show, not the new one), I’ve Got a Secret and What’s My Line? and a few other channels.

Someone mentioned getting another remote with numbers. I do have a universal remote. I wonder if that would help me get my broadcast channels quicker? When I turn my TV on, I like it to come on the channel I was watching last. This TV doesn’t do that. I’m still getting used to how this TV works. If I could find a way to delete channels from my lineup, I would do that in a heartbeat, starting with all the Spanish language channels.

Whether we’ve been rejected by a sweetheart or a college, a prospective employer or the bank for a loan, we’ve all been refused. The day also gives us an opportunity to reflect on how we survived the rejection and what we learned from it.
