It is, of course, a cartoon. Which is simple compared to reality. But yeah. I really do NOT understand why Biden isn’t pushing back against the genocide and murder perpetrated against EVERYBODY in Gaza by the Yahoo and his gang.

Yes, Hamas is ALSO dedicated to murder, genocide, etc. But that does not excuse war crimes against Palestinians!

KILLING? (OMG)No, no, no. Just mowing the grass.

“Mowing the grass (Hebrew: כיסוח דשא) is a metaphor used to describe the strategy of Israel against Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip.” (Wikipedia so it must be true).

Ted has a point here, Biden and his administration are enabling Nuttenyahoo and the IDF as are a lot of the powers in Europe who have drunk the Kool-Aid. Cut the maniacs funds even if it angers the 1%ers who support Israel unconditionally (probably the same cowards who are doxing students and getting university officials canned) as well as the arms, military and ammunition conglomerates who are raking in the coin without regard to the blood which they are spilling!

Yah, Joe is between a rock and a hard place. He risks losing the jewish vote, which could cause him the election if he does what in his heart knows is the right thing. Meanwhile.. the republicans are rubbing thier hands in glee over this dilemma.

The U.S. president does not provide weapons or funding to any other country, not even Israel. Congress provides the funds and weapons to Israel by passing bills that are laws. The last president tried to hold up weapons and aid to Ukraine and was impeached for it. Biden has pressured Netanyahu with all he can, but we do not govern Israel. Congress needs to act in Netanyahu’s violations of agreements made, violations of aid and weapons meant for defense, and violations of human rights.

I’d have preferred the Biden administration denounce Israel / IDF Hamas retaliatory actions as soon after 10 / 7 / 23 as it became obvious those actions are genocidal. There is no excuse for only this March, 5 months on, getting around to condemnatory rhetoric of this barbarism.

But this cartoon ought to show an automobile, or maybe better a passenger train, filled with GOP elected officials and ever half of the population of the United States.

At least right now, and in exponentially increasing numbers each and every subsequent month between now and a time tbd (either when Israel suspends its genocidal policies or the US election), passengers are beginning to disembark that train.

By November, if Israel has not stopped its actions — and if they have not yet ignited a war in the Levant, with every surrounding nation (and contiguous allied countries) united against them and their willing allies (the US, for one) — that fictional train I invented, with passenger cars loaded with nearly 2M Americans, will be towing a train of mostly abandoned cars.

The most important point about any discussion concerning America’s role in the conflict between Hamas & Israel is that no matter how badly President Biden is dealing with this matter, Trump would deal with it ten times worse.

130 hostages including 5 Americans are still being held in Gaza under unspeakable conditions. The US govt want to roll over and expects Israel to surrender to Hamas because it’s bad optics for Dems during an election year.

I would really enjoy a comic collage of artists like Rall confronting a few of the right-wing artists that depict Biden aiding Hamas in killing Israelis and holding back the IDF from defending Israel. It’s not like a simple difference in perspective. It’s like they are posting extreme opposites of each other, with Biden culpable all of them.
