And the reason Ronna McDaniel was made available was because the MAGA Messiah FIRED her in the first place – so his DIL could milk the money life blood from the RNC to pay his shyster lawyers. C’mon, Bok, tell us another story,
So, after a brief lapse, NBC determined that exposing their audience to lies was wrong, even if it coast them money. What a novel attitude in this day and age.
McDaniel was replaced by Trump and is persona non-grata on Fake news. The 70 million misguided (a charitable adjective) Trump voters mostly don’t watch NBC and McDaniel would not be a draw for them since Trump disowned her. NBC loses nothing. What an uniformed take.
ronna became pariah when her pimp, trump, fired her and took her off her corner at the rnc.
After she fell out of favor with trump, his followers, the truly stupid, gullible, and empty-headed magat trump-humpers, would have refused to watch her, out of loyalty to trump.
So if ronna had been on NBC, anything she said, trump would have twisted it, and lambasted her for it on his social platform, and that’s where the sheep would have seen her words, not on NBC.
The 70 million watchers / lemmings would have been running in the opposite direction already, not watching NBC.
NBC ain’t sacred, but it’s better than ronna name shame swapper mcdaniel.
If the media is to be worth anything, they have to report what is being said and then explain how well it conforms to reality. Their failure to do this for the last few decades has produced a population that can’t tell when they are being lied to, and given us Trump.
It’ll be hilarious (and illuminating) if she does try a defamation or slander lawsuit. Then she’ll need to prove the allegations made against her… including the Big Lie.
Her own words will be enough to dismiss any such attempt, which is what the MAGA idiots have been fed over the last decade. This is just another troll cartoon by a troll cartoonist.
The* Burden of Proof* is an interesting concept in legal matters. Take Hitchen’s Razor, which is an epistemological razor expressed by writer Christopher Hitchens. It says:
The burden of proof regarding the truthfulness of a claim lies with the one who makes the claim. If this burden is not met, then the claim is unfounded, and its opponents need not argue further in order to dismiss it.
Hitchens rephrased his razor, in writing, as “What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence."
Ronna can’t provide evidence that doesn’t exist, and rumors, innuendo, and opinions are not admissible in a court of law – just ask the many disbarred lawyers.
Republicans want their wilfully-ignorant “base” to accept the existence of “voter fraud” without bothering with any empirical data or factual evidence. It is illogical to “prove” non-existence, but that’s where radicalized Trumpistas and religious zealots are similar.
And NBC refuses to play that shell game.
Religious nuts, for example, assert that fossils are, in fact, a cosmological practical joke played on humanity by aan invisible deity (“God”) to test their faith. Scientific proof to the contrary, such as carbon dating and the geological record, is considered to be part of that joke. Come on, PROVE to us that fossils were NOT a divine practical joke. Or just keep screaming and dancing around in circles.
This is still not Putin’s or Orban’s America, where a free press (guaranteed by the Constitution but decried as “enemies of the People”) does not exist.
MAGAs, ask yourselves (assuming you still have a semblance of Critical Thought) why or how propaganda overrules empirical data and truth. You can’t.
BTW, your MAGA Messiah posted a video showing his political opponent, Biden, trussed up and thrown into the back of a pickup truck to be hauled away to some more discreet location for disposal. Oh please tell us how it’s just a “joke” and not a call for violence.
Former Obama senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer calls McDaniel’s hiring “evidence” the media has “yet to accept the reality that this is not a normal election between a Republican and a Democrat.” And adds, “An [industry] that prizes objectivity above all else, is incapable of accurately covering an election where one candidate is a normal politician and the other is an insurrectionist. Many in the media would rather stumble into autocracy than take a side.”
After Chuck Todd blasted the decision to hire McDaniel on Sunday’s Meet the Press, Budoff Brown reached out to McDaniel’s aide and former chief of staff at the RNC, Richard Walters, to see if there were any friends or colleagues who could speak up on her behalf. Walters later assured Budoff Brown that they’d been able to advance conservative pushback on social media against Todd, specifically, and that this might give NBC News some cover, for which Budoff Brown thanked him. CNN reports that “staffers inside NBC News are enraged at the fact an executive would have engaged in such behavior.”
“It’s like the hunger games at @NBCNews. Every day new, horrible stories of journalism & corporate malpractice. Every single one of these managers must go,” according to Jennifer Schulze, a media critic who was a Chicago Sun-Times executive producer, WGN news director, and adjunct college professor of journalism. “The @NBCNews managers who recruited & signed an election denier should be out the door, too,” she adds. “Not only was it downright offensive to hire Ronna, it was journalism AND corporate malpractice.”
Others have also called for the firing of Brown, Blumenstein and Conde, including former Chicago Tribune editor Mark Jacobs.
The MSNBC reporters rejected liar and traitor Trump trash Ronna.
They were going to walk out if MSNBC kept that traitor Trump fraud.
plus he already kicked her to the curb first. So she wouldn’t be bringing in any of the crazies… she would only be deterring some of the sane… so good business decision.
Let’s see, Fox has Jessica Tarlov, Richard Fowler, Geraldo Rivera, Harold Ford Jr, Leslie Marshall, Dennis Kucinich, and Donna Brazile, all either hosts or regular contributors from the progressive point of view. NBC had Ronna McDaniel, for a whole two days and zero air time.
NBC has convinced themselves that they can survive as the news agency of the Far Left and nobody else. Good luck with that. Now, where was that list of NBC sponsors? Oh yes, I’ve found it.
I went full streaming about 12 years ago and its been a joy to have my commercial count cut by 95%. I still have to tolerate YouTubes interruptions but I’ve learned to minimize those.
