NYC deploying some sort of military looking presence in the subway system sure makes for some uncomfortable optics — if one is a Democracy sort of a person.
Wikipedia, Google, Snopes (and my brother-in-law Charlie), all insist that the City has less violent crime than most of the smaller towns in America.
And they happen to be right.
Big cities got big-city media & millions of people of all kinds. When somebody gets shot in Norman, OK, it’s just another Friday night. When somebody gets shot in Manhattan, 8 million locals know about it along with the whole rest of the world.
For real — heredity & environment be danmed – people everywhere have the same basic nature.
Little bit of truth here. FBI is looking at Christians as Christian Nationals. How many Christian Terrorist, I mean real Terrorist by Christians has occurred. Not just Terrorist attacks done by people with a Christian Heritage. I have heard 57% percent are committed by right wing violence. But at the same time only a 1/3 of Americans that like 420 Churches have been attacked in a four year period, that is from an article in 2022. Something isn’t adding up. They tell us crime is going down, yet the Gov of New York called out the National Guard, to clean up the NY subway with little success from what I can tell. Women are being punched in the face on the street. Pictures taken of it and yet crime is down. LA, NY, Chicago and San Francisco is little better.
What gives. Well crime is down in the 28 states with legal carry.
FBI is looking at Muslims as Muslim Nationals. How many Muslim Terrorist, I mean real Terrorist by Muslims has occurred. Not just Terrorist attacks done by people with a Muslim Heritage.
One could easily ridicule the rest of your word-salad post (e.g., women are being punched in the face behind closed doors in the 28 states with lax gun laws), but you ain’t really worth the trouble.
