Yup, nothing like someone with a pickup truck as a daily driver complaining about fuel costs. Have to admit it’s fun watching them park in a close to the building spot doing the 5 point parking dance. LOL When I drive my big truck and not my little hatchback to the store, I just park in the back of the lot. :)
The high prices i’ve seen at the grocery store are the direct result of gouging by producers & distributors. The supply chains were restored months & ago, and now they’re just charging as much as they can get away with while making record profits.
The really large pickups just use four parking spaces today. Well, actually it is a 5’4” woman driving a 10,000 SUV or a guy wearing a suit driving a huge, tricked out pickup with a Trump sticker on the back. Law and order type he be. The shopping card. Multiple reasons for food prices to remain high, most outside of the scope for anyone to managed short of price controls, but one reason remains corporate greed.
Nothing like type casting pickup truck owners by the ignorant. Pickups or so necessary for many trades, jobs, and personal use. They are the livelihood for many and are no more expensive than cars, SUV, or EVs. And most owners will use them till the “wheels fall off” because of being depended on, and their importance as a service vehicle, especially in rural america.
For the record, my helicopter is the most fuel-efficient vehicle I have, and my daily driver is a Toyota Matrix. Then there’s my Tundra, but it’s a special-purpose vehicle that doesn’t rack up many miles.

Those executive planes don’t fly cheap either, mind it probably a tax deduction so don’t count.

I reckon #45’s beloved 757 is rather pricey to operate, too. It’ll probably be repo’d.
