Good idea. His manners are lacking. He is sweet, though, so you don’t stay upset.

When my kids were small, I took them to buy Hush Puppy shoes….. they were “in” at the time…..upon awakening…one pair had been chewed beyond recognition by our German Shorthaired Pointer puppy…MAX! ….☹️So back to the store we went. ☹️

It takes a lot of self training to be a a good puppy: you need to chew the shoes the right way you know LOL Don’t ruin him Kate (just kidding): I also wanted to go to school until I learned the awful truth and it was too late (not that I had a choice anyway) sort of like we as kids want to grow up and then we grow up and again find out the awful truth about what being an adult really is. The worse part is when you learn you have to count your calories and you have go past all those sweets in the bakery knowing that at home all your getting is a humble salad with little to no dressing.
